Towel Day nail art

*Nothing to Disclose*

Happy Memorial Day (or Monday to those of you outside of the US)! In addition to Memorial Day, it is also Geek Pride Day and Towel Day! What is Towel Day, you might ask? Towel Day is an annual tribute celebration of Douglas Adams, the author of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I couldn't let the day pass without some nail art for the occasion.

The galaxy and a towel... Although, you can tell what I was going for, the execution was just a bit off. I really need to work on my galaxy manicures. Like spend an entire day doing nothing but galaxy nails over and over again.  Maybe then, I will get better at them! I think the next time, I am going to use the Saran Wrap method instead of a sponge. The sponge just gave too much color each time (as evident on my pinkie). The ring finger worked out a bit better.

I used quite a few polishes to create this look: Lucky 13 Lacquer "Dark Matter," Lucky 13 Lacquer "Live Long and Prosper," Zoya "Sweet," Zoya "Neely," Zoya "Carmen," OPI "Alpine Snow," and China Glaze "Fairy Dust."

I hope you've got your towel with you today, and remember... Don't panic!
