Digital Nails: Geronimo

*Prize*

Hi guys! Today's post is going to be fairly quick, and I'll let the gorgeous polish pretty much speak for itself. If you've read my blog for long, you know that I am a huge Doctor Who fan. My husband got me to watch it, and after one episode, I was hooked. They always say that your first Doctor is usually your favorite Doctor, and in my case this is true.  Even though I loved Ten, Eleven will have my two hearts. (And yes, I know none of that makes much sense to you non-Whovians!)  I want to share a polish inspired by Eleven's catchphrase - "Geronimo" from Digital Nails!

Cupcake Polish: Too Haute To Handle

*Prize*

Hi guys!  The sick kitty saga continues. We took him back to the vet on Saturday after two days of subq fluids three times a day, and the vet decided that she wanted us to continue the fluids for another week.  Giving him those fluids was not as easy as the vet made it seem. I've stabbed myself with the needle more than once, and most of the time, he squirms around to the point that the needle comes out and I have to restick him. At least he doesn't hold grudges; I still get my kitty hugs!

Now to the polish... A couple of months I won a gift certificate to Cupcake Polish from a giveaway at The Mercurial Magpie. I was excited to win this prize because I had not tried Cupcake Polish yet!

Gradient using Lucky 13 Lacquer "Flops"

*Purchased by Me*

This is going to be short and sweet because I am dealing with a kitty that doesn't feel well. If you follow me on Instagram, you have seen our little monkey cat. We took him to the vet on Sunday, and then again today. If he's not better by Saturday, we have to take him back. We have to give him subq fluids for the next two days, and do lots of hoping and praying every time we check his litter box. So far, I've only watched the vet give him the fluids, so I haven't had to do it myself yet. I'm nervous but it has to be done. I'll do anything for that lil' kitty!

Okay, so on to my nails... I've got a quick gradient that I did with a couple of "flops" that I've recently purchased from Lucky 13 Lacquer. Sometimes the "flops" aren't what she had in mind, or just aren't up to full release standards... but they are always gorgeous! I picked up several during the latest flop restock, and as soon as I looked at Fire Opal (red-orange) and Citrine (mustard yellow), I saw a gorgeous gradient in the making!

Pahlish: Who Loves Orange Soda?

*Purchased by Me*

Hi guys! Last month, Pahlish celebrated their 3rd anniversary, and in addition to launching some unique anniversary polishes, they also re-released some old favorites. I did not discover Pahlish until the "All of Time and Space" collection, so I was looking forward to picking up some of those older colors.  Today, I want to share one of those with you!

HPB Presents April Showers

*Nothing to Disclose*

The past couple of days here in South Carolina have been very rainy. I think it's been raining the entire week! The other day, my husband was complaining that he hadn't seen the sun in forever, and I reminded him that April showers bring May flowers! With all the rain, this month's theme for the Hobby Polish Bloggers link-up is really appropriate!

Glam Polish: Into the Deep

*Prize*

Hi guys! A couple of months ago, I won one of the prizes in a giveaway from The Jedi Wife, and it was a gift certificate from Ella Ann Cosmetics. Since Ella Ann Cosmetics is a stockist of Glam Polish, I knew that I was going to use the gift certificate to pick up a few of their polishes! I'd been drooling over swatches on Instagram for long enough! One of the polishes that I picked up was "Into the Deep" from Welcome to Storybrooke Collection. Once Upon A Time is a favorite show of mine, so this was such a win!

Game of Thrones Inspired Polishes

*Purchased by Me*

What? A post on Sunday?  What could be the reason for the momentous occasion? Why, it's the day that I've been not so patiently waiting for the last ten freakin' months. Books have been re-read, episodes have been re-watched. All in preparation for tonight's big season 5 premier of Game of Thrones!

Unlike so many other book readers, I'm actually excited that there will be book spoilers this season. Don't get me wrong - I freakin' love the books, but I want to know where the story is going!  Plus I know that even with some spoilers, I will enjoy the upcoming books, whenever they finally come out. In honor of this glorious day, I want to share some of my favorite polishes inspired by Game of Thrones. If you haven't read the books or watch all of season 4, you may want to just look at the pretty pictures, I might type a spoiler or two.

OPI: Go With the Lava Flow and That's Hula-rious!

*Purchased by Me*

I started to edit the photos that I took this past weekend, and realized that I still had a few that I had not written a post about. Since they were already edited and everything, I decided to just use them rather than redo the photos.

When I first heard about the OPI Hawaii collection, I was excited about the colors that it would contain. However, I guess I've gotten pickier about mainstream polishes, and ended up I only picking up 2 colors from the collection - Go With the Lava Flow and That's Hula-rious!
