OPI: Shine for Me

Hi guys! Happy Friday to you! Do you have any big plans for the upcoming weekend? Some type of sickness is running rampant in my house, and now I have it. Unless I suddenly start to feel better, I am just going to spend the entire weekend in bed.  

When OPI first announced the 50 Shades of Grey collection, I was not interested in it at all. It is completely possible that my opinion of the collection was jaded by my dislike of the book series. But the colors just did not look very original. But then I saw some swatches, and I changed my mind about one of the polishes - "Shine for Me." It did not look anything else that I have in my collection, and I could not wait to try it.

Hi guys! I'm so sorry that I've been MIA (except for an occasional share on Facebook) for the past week. My father-in-law has suffered from Parkinson's disease for a few years, and his health has been declining. He took a turn for the worse, and my husband and I went out of town to be with his family.  He passed away while we were there, so our trip was extended. I was thankful that I was able to be there for my husband, and that we got to say our goodbyes to a wonderful man. I count myself lucky that I got a great set of in-laws, and they treated me like one of the family from the beginning. Anyway, once I got back into town, it took me a few days to get caught up on things and get back into the swing of things.  

Now on to the polish... today, I want to share "Crown Jewels" from ellagee. I am going to warn you that this post is a bit picture heavy because this is polish is gorgeous!

The Hobby Polish Bloggers are at it again, and this time we are bringing you Valentine's Day nails! I hope you all have a special day, either with friends, children, or significant other! Due to some family issues, Valentine's Day has been put on hold for me and my husband.  We will wait until later this month, and go out to a nice dinner.

  

When trying to decide what to do for my nails, I knew that I wanted it to be fairly girly. I wanted to try out some of my stamp plates, but I need a bit more practice before I showcase that on here!  I ended up deciding on a skittle mani.

Nerd Lacquer: Götterdämmerung

Hi guys! Today, I want to share one of my biggest lemmings with you. From the moment that I saw Götterdämmerung from Nerd Lacquer, it was love at first sight. Sadly, I found this breathtaking polish while Nerd Lacquer was between restocks. I scoured blog sales and Facebook group sales, but was always too slow to grab it. Long story short, I was finally able to snag it, and I have been a happy lil' polish addict since!

Hi everyone!  Sorry for the lack of a post yesterday; my husband and I went Wednesday night to see the musical Wicked, and we did not get until quite late. I was too tired to wake up and write a post.  If you ever get the chance to see Wicked on its national tour, I definitely recommend seeing it if you can!  It was amazing, and even my husband enjoyed.

Now to the polish... I want to share "Pluto Is Still A Planet To Me" from DIFFERENT Dimension's Cosmologically Speaking collection. Before I even saw this polish, I wanted it - simply for the name!

Hi everyone!  A few months ago, a England launched their Elizabeth and Mary collection - a collection inspired by Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots. The entire collection is absolutely breathtaking, but so far, I have only been able to get my hands on one polish from it - Gloriana.
